Um, but yeah, is it a concept album? Not, you know, none of them are necessarily concept albums, but when I look back on the songs, I try to figure out what the story is and, and have it be this side parallel narrative to the lyrical content. I wanna keep it simple, keep it about the songs, the lyrics, the music, the melody, you know, the, the groove, the, the, uh, the cadence and the beats and, um, you know, that’s, that’s the most important thing. And then if, if you care about the story, you could unpack it and the music’s for everyone. You know, I’ve said this repeatedly, but I, I, I always get disappointed when I find out, um, what a song actually means, um, from an artist I love or from a song I love, if it’s a completely different than what I thought, um, and not as cool or not as important. In fact, along the journey, I’ve met some of you who, uh, you know, interpreted the lyrics of some of my songs, uh, much better than what I had intended. So who am I to say that it’s not about that?
