Craft Party 101: How to Get Started and Make a Profit Doing Something You Love

the most common question I get is how do I get started you don’t have to start by recruiting a public venue selling tickets and teaching a public party for anyone who has signed up to do a craft fair that I have a quick way that you can add crafting to your booth set up a make your own section at your booth for your guests to come up and do a small project that should only take maybe 10 minutes for them to make mini sand art terrariums and keychains are just a couple of things that work really well for this another way you can get started is to reach out to businesses like dentists orthodontists to do some private parties it’s easier to book a private party and get one group of 10 to 20 people where you have one customer that is signing up for the group and paying you chunk of money to come in and teach a craft to a group of people the nice thing about private parties is you have a heads up of how many guests to expect and so you know exactly how many supplies you need to purchase with public events um it’s kind of a guessing game so I just wanted to open the discussion if questions about either of those or any other ideas that you had put them in the comments and I’d be happy to get back to you so we can talk more about how to get started teaching craft parties how to get started making a profit doing something you love how to have an excuse to buy more craft supplies and bring a lot of joy to your community
