So we all walk around with these smart watches on nowadays, and it’s really fun to monitor your health and fitness data, but have you ever sat there and wondered to yourself, like, how accurate are these watches? Really? Well, turns out you’re not alone, because Samsung and the university of Michigan actually compared the Galaxy Watch for eight months to medical grade equipment like electrocardiograms and DEXA scans, which is like a really fancy X ray machine, and the results are actually super shocking. So it turns out that heart rate measured on your Galaxy Watch is 90% accurate, sweat loss had a 95% correlation, oxygen levels were 82% precise, and body fat percentage when measured on your Galaxy Watch is 95% on target. I can’t even believe that. I’ll leave the link to the full article in my profile bio if you guys want to check it out.
