Title: Navigating the Challenge of Being a Hard Stick Patient

I get my blood taken a lot. Like, a lot. And I know I’m a hard stick, but I also know that the nurse hears everybody tell them, well, I’m a hard stick. So I try to, like, play it off and be, like, cool and be like, yeah, I’ve been told I’m a hard stick, but, like, I know you probably hear that all the time, but a butterfly really helps. And I tried that today, and she was like, oh, I got this. I’m not gonna use a butterfly. And I was like, okay, whatever you. You do you. You do you. And then I took a lot of tries before she got the butterflies. I’m not surprised.
