I’ve already been seeing some videos about game of the year predictions and it’s always interesting to me because nobody ever predicts Nintendo games being in the mix. I think people are gonna be shocked this year. Legend of Zelda echoes of wisdom definitely looks like it could be game of the year from all of the previews. This game looks phenomenal. You can easily see it being in the 90s on Metacritic. And there’s no other games of that caliber this year, so I can see legend of Zelda easily sneaking a few game of the year awards. Man. I can see maybe shadow of the Earth Tree, but that’s just DLC so can that even win game of the year? A Dragon’s Dogma was pretty cool, but I don’t think it was all that great. I know a lot of people like Final Fantasy 7 rebirth, but like, is it a remaster? A remake? Like what? Is it a new game? I don’t know. Personally I think botw is the game of the year, but it’s an indie game so I doubt that many people will give it a chance. I don’t know, I think Zelda is just gonna surprise people. I can’t wait for people to disagree with me because of the art style.
