Simple and Successful: Crappie Fishing with Jig Heads

Let’s get out of plastic, shall we? What are we feeling? It’s that time of year with a dart. Dart in a tube. Now let’s break out a jig head. One of the things I love about crappie fishing is you can keep it pretty simple. Don’t have to get too complicated with the crappies. I’m gonna rig up two rods. Just one for now, but I’m gonna go with the 16th ounce. There’s a lot of crappie that are suspended right now. Just 12 to 15 feet of water. I don’t know what it is about 12 foot, but just about every lake creatures love to live in, like 12 foot of water. Oh, god. Crappie almost smashed it right there. The bigger one came out first. There he is. Wow. He almost like, just swirled up to the top. There we go. There’s a nice eater crop right there.
