Getting the TikTok Gaming live Pro badge was a really validating moment for me personally because it proved that you can create content your way on TikTok and truly achieve success.
My name is from quit the build and I’m a gaming live pro on TikTok. I started here on TikTok about 2 years ago and at that point I was mostly known for my songs and jingles and parities, but I wanted a more personal connection with my fans and viewers. So I decided to go into livestreaming and naturally being a gamer, decided to try out some gaming lives.
Early on, I had a green screen and a dream and just an idea of the stuff I wanted to play. And over time, you know, TikTok really helped to match me with the right audience to help me grow. And before I knew it, we had this vibrant community over the last few years. Quit the build has hit so many milestones from 1,000 subs to winning an award at TikTok Live Fest in the gaming category last year, to even hitting No. 1 on the Gaming Top 100 weekly charts. But the most important thing of all has been the way that our community is able to grow and spread that message of joy and positivity and support in the gaming space, which definitely needs that.
And I, I really, I can’t thank TikTok enough for helping us to reach that point and helping us to find our audience. So much so that this is what I do now. And we even have a full dedicated studio to make this stuff happen. It really is life changing.
