Rising Epidemic: Mobile Phone Thefts Soaring in the UK, Funneled to Shenzhen

New figures show that over 200 mobile phones are stolen across the UK every day. In London, a phone is stolen every six minutes, driven by an increased demand for second hand devices overseas. Most of these smartphones end up in the same Chinese city, Shenzhen. Has anyone had their phone stolen? I was just on my phone and whoop! And straight to Shenzhen. Yeah, like within a day or two. Yeah. Around 78,000 people had their phones stolen on British streets from March 2023 to March 2024. Figures also show that four out of five police investigations were closed before a suspect was even found.
