there’s a new TV show on Netflix that I think everybody should be watching but I don’t know if they are because it’s an anime and anime is not everybody’s thing I get that it’s called Terminator Zero and yes I mean that Terminator and it’s the best thing that’s been entered into the franchise in many many years the Terminator franchise does not have the best track record the first two films are amazing the second one easily the best in my opinion and then they made three really bad films with Salvation rise of the machines and Genesis and I actually like Dark Fate but this anime takes the story back to its roots in a really satisfying way I’m telling you if you like those first two films you’re gonna have a great time with this show it’s the same song and dance but with some unique spins there’s a scientist who’s integral in the coming apocalypse so the machines send back a Terminator through time to handle him and then the humans send back a hero to stop the Terminator the same thing every time right but I think the anime leans into the horror aspect that used to be a hallmark of this franchise and they kind of lost that and made it more of an action series directed by Masashi Kudo who was an animator on Bleach Thousand Year War and written and created by Mattson Tomlin who wrote Project Power and worked on things like The Sea Beast the voice cast is really good it’s got Rosario Dawson as one of the main characters and Sonoya Mizuno played Mysaria on House of the Dragon it’s quick it’s fun it’s beautifully animated there’s lots of twists and turns to keep you engaged and it’s brutally violent everything that you’d want from a Terminator installment this could be a good gateway anime for many people as always be kind to each other in the comments and love what you love
