Phantom Blade Zero: A Game-Changing Action Experience

Phantom Blade 0 looks wild. If you haven’t been keeping up with this game, it’s an action game that has a similar vibe to Black Myth Wukong mixed with a little bit of Sekiro. Or a lot of Sekiro, honestly. We finally saw this gameplay demo from Gamescom 2024 where people could go hands on with the game for the first time, and this has immediately shot up to the top of my wish list. In fact, this might finally be the game that gets me to buy a PlayStation 5. Or maybe upgrade my PC one of those. For what it’s worth, an Xbox version could be on the way, but there’s been some drama around that whole conversation. Yikes. And if it does happen, it probably won’t be anytime super soon. This gameplay has a little bit of everything that I look for in a game. It’s got some difficulty, but the hits still pack a punch and the combat is just straight up stylish. This isn’t Dynasty Warrior style chaos with enemies just taking hits and flailing around. This is intense martial arts hand to hand combat. Or sword to some. You know what I mean? It looks good. The boss fights look solid. Obviously your mileage might vary in the final game, but so far they’re fast and cinematic and there’s a little wall running splashed in there. This game just looks awesome and I can’t wait to play it. But let me know down below What do you think about Phantom Blade Zero? And are you gonna give this game a shot?
