Mastering Color Correction: The Power of Yellow and Green Correctors

I want you to look for a corrector that has a little bit of yellow in it. So here’s this one. Once I swatch this one, you’ll know what I’m talking about. And then one more. This is the one we’re gonna use. Are we looking for yellow? Yellow is across from purple, but we obviously know green is across from red. Now, for this area, I can get away with this corrector. And then we’re gonna use a small brush. And this is going to start to disappear. And we’re gonna use a little bit more pigmented corrector for the nose. Look at that difference already. Then we’re gonna switch to the fluffier side. And you can see that yellow is canceling any purple. Of course, the green is canceling the red. We’re good to go. Now, this elf corrector is gonna have a stronger pigment. Small brush first. Always tap. Take your time. And look at that. It’s not turning purple whatsoever because we chose a more yellow. Green, actually. Let me show you this one. This is the one that doesn’t have the yellow. And you can see that it’s kind of starting to turn a little purple. Moral of the story. Look for a yellow green
