Dual-Purpose Creations: Harnessing Artistry for Aesthetic Beauty and Everyday Utility

I think utilitarian art would probably be a more formal term here but I have some examples so we all know drawings paintings they’re great um you put them on the wall they’re very pretty they’re very beautiful to look at you can’t like do things with them right so I like to make a variety of art that can be either decor or have a useful purpose some examples this is like a print hangs on the wall that would I would not consider this functional or utilitarian art these are shorts so you can wear them but I also painted them so I would consider that art but you can wear it I think that counts okay and then this let me show you oh my gosh I don’t like these okay so this is a painting that I did on paper and it could be framed and hung on the wall on its own or it could be put oh my gosh don’t like these or it could be put into this tray and you can put it on your bar cart put on your coffee table use it as a serving tray you could use this for so much stuff and I love that so there’s that and then I also have buttons so these say Saturdays are for the girls and you can wear them on your shirt but I drew that so I consider that art that can be used for something also have stickers also this so this is another example I did not make this but a good friend of mine made this shout out to Abby she made this and I am using it as a coffee cup candles would also be a really good example in the past I’ve made coasters with resin so that is some functional art examples
