We have not seen at the end of Sydney Mclaughlin Levrone this season as she has just announced she will be competing not only in the 400 meters, but also in the 200 meters at the Brussels Diamond League next week. It will be the first time she has competed since the Olympic Games, which is where, of course, she won two gold medals, one in the 400 meter hurdles and another in the women’s 4 by 400 meter relay. Her PB for the 400 meters is 48 seconds, point seven four. And her PB for the 200 is 22 seconds, point zero seven. Now, Sydney has not said anything about the Grand Slam Track League which takes place next year. It’s essentially a new league set up by Michael Johnson where athletes are seen competing over two track events, one of those being the 200 and the 400 meters. So of course, fans are now beginning to speculate whether this is Sydney getting ready for that new league. However, we don’t know and nothing is confirmed. But do let us know what you think down in the comments.
