Leon Draisaitl just signed a massive deal with the Edmonton Oilers. So I’m here in Ice District to find out what people think. It’s exciting. I mean, it’s fun to imagine what the next eight more years are gonna be like. Now, he’s a really good player. It’s fun to watch. He scores a lot of goals. He does a lot of great plays. He’s good for an entertaining interview. Um, it’s just happy he’s on our team and not someone else’s team. Sounds like a lot of money. I don’t. I don’t watch hockey. I think they get paid too much, actually. But I also enjoy the entertainment value of it. So I’m conflicted. I think it’s a great thing for Edmonton, truly. And the fact that he wanted to still be here, I think that’s important as well. The matching the pair, the leadership that he brings to the team. And look, we’re all of that as a team where we came to this year. I think it’s great. I feel great. And why? Because we’ve locked him in for eight more years. His power play, his leadership, he’s a fantastic leader. Drysdale signing for another long contract, that would be zettergute for me, says German. So why is that a big deal? Well, no, just that Drysdale and Connor, they were just such a powerhouse for the team the whole season and even in the playoffs that it’s just good for everything. What do you think of This deal, is it a good deal, bad deal or meh? Let us know.
