September Movie Preview: Excitement, Anticipation, and Disappointment in the Lineup

let’s talk about some movies that are coming out this September cause some I’m really excited for some I’m just wondering why the heck are they making them obviously one of the most anticipated movies this month releases this weekend with Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice haven’t seen this one yet but I will be watching an early screening tomorrow but I did hear some kind of mixed reviews about this movie let’s hope it’s not just a carbon copy of the original and walks that fine line of being its own thing McAvoy is already getting a ton of praise for his new horror movie Speak No Evil and I can attest to that I saw it a couple months ago without comparing it to the original Danish film I enjoyed this movie quite a bit especially being a parent and especially because of James McAvoy’s performance now this one I’m really curious about it stars Brandy called The Front Room and is directed by Sam and Max Eggers the brothers of Robert Eggers who directed amazing movies like The Witch the Northman and the lighthouse which I believe Max co wrote really curious to see if it has that same Eggers magic to it never let go a Halle Berry I watch this one however the embargo is not up so I won’t be saying too much about it I will say the performance from these two kids way ahead of their time the animated movies I’m really excited for like transformers 1 I had a chance to see this one but I was traveling unfortunately but I did interview a lot of the cast and they said a lot of great things that made me want to see this movie also had a couple friends like soups tell me how great this was so I’m really stoked for this Dreamworks is the wild robot is probably my most anticipated movie of this month I’ve been on record saying that this is going to be one of Dreamworks best films ever created universal invited me to the Annecy Film Festival to see some exclusive footage of this and my oh my god guys you I cried some things I’m not really excited for megalopolis so Francis Ford Coppola this one has been getting terrible reviews which sucks because he put a lot of his own money it’s a big passion project for him nothing about this made me wanna watch it in the slightest Netflix apparently has a movie called the uglies which is set in the world where beauty stands in star enforced and somebody’s trying to get plastic surgery but I guess these are the uglies I don’t know it already is putting a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t even know why I’m talking about this but the fact that God’s not dead is getting a fifth movie is just baffling to me I’m a Christian and I’ve seen God’s not dead 1 and 2 and these are just awful movies
