we were reading ‘Dragons Love Tacos’ for Storytime at one point I said, “I love dragons!” and it prompted one of the library kids who was maybe 4-years-old to raise their head and say, “I love dragons, too! I love ‘House of the Dragon’ I watch it with my mom have you seen it?” and I was shocked but I love ‘House of the Dragon’ I love ‘Game of Thrones’ so I said, “do you bend the knee to Rhaenyra or to Daenerys Stormborn?” I’m just kidding! I didn’t say that I was still shocked so I said, “let’s table this! let’s have this conversation with you and your library grown-up” and I was like, “dragon tails, dragon tails, it’s almost time for dragon tales” ‘dragon tales’ ‘house of the Dragon’ ‘Game of Thrones’ dragons loving tacos! we’re human beings that’s who we are library kids library grown-ups we love tacos we love dragons in all different forms books and shows, apparently! and I love that so much that we all have chaotic things we have to say when we’re talking about our dragons
