Sarah: The Girl Next Door Turned Successful Entrepreneur, Innovator, and Advocate

So my friend Sarah. My friend Sarah, a woman that I admire. She’s like the girl next door that also happens to be an inventor. She’s the girl next door that also founded her own company. That launched her as one of the most successful female entrepreneurs of all time. And one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time, male or female. And she stands up for women and women’s bodies. She revolutionized clothing and how women think about their bodies. And, I mean. And now she found a new company called sneaks. Have you guys seen it? She finally took on the shoe companies, making high heels comfortable. I mean, that’s Sarah. And Sarah was a very good friend to me. Is a very good friend to me. But she showed me so much kindness. When she flew out to my gala at Crystal Bridges for my art opening. She had a conference early in the morning, but she flew in by herself to Bentonville, Arkansas. That’s a friend. And she bit on a guitar at the auction. That’s a friend. And I have not gotten her the guitar yet. This is the guitar I drew on it. It’s a tree of life with lyrics to hands. But the sound of this guitar, it’s a little mini GS Taylor. And it sounds so good that I just haven’t sent it to her yet. I’ve been writing on it. It’s been, let’s see, May, June, July, August. It’s been, Like three or four months. It’s coming, Sarah. If it’s any consolation, I wrote this on it. The baby won’t stop. The sinking feeling is the highest that you got. She’s after glow. But you put it out of your mind. Cause I belong to another time now. Emotional limbo. How low can you go with the show? This is for single moms. So hard to carry on. I have so much respect for moms, married or single. And it just seemed right that I wrote this song for women. On a guitar for a woman. It stands for women. It’s coming on its way to you, Sarah. I swear. I swear I’ll mail it soon.
