Welcome to our morning routine where I teach my two year old. Every day is different, and I recently just got the new Fisher Price wood toys, which I have been so excited to show him. We start with this fun animal themed toddler sorting and stacking toy which encourages creativity. He. He especially loves this one because he is really into animals right now. I use this to help develop his fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and problem solving skills through play and storytelling. Then we move into something that’s going to strengthen his imaginative play, which is this Castle Block set. This new wood toy line is amazing and we can’t wait for our kids to play with the full collection as they get older. In between switching activities, he starts to get hungry, so I step away to get his breakfast going. I do this to encourage independent play, which has been making him very confident. Something that we really appreciate about this line is that it is made with non toxic water based paint, so mix is comfortable letting him play with it. And it has been a great addition to our learning time in the mornings. And it is available at Walmart.
