Vine a comala porque me dijeron que aquí vivía, mi padre. I’m very excited for this movie to come out, but also a little bit scared. Pedro Paramo is one of my top three books of all time. I think I read it for the first time when I was, like, in eighth grade, and since then, I read it at least. At least 100 times. I have multiple editions of it in both English and Spanish. I love to teach it in my Mexican literature classes. I love this book. There is a movie that came out in the 1960s, and, you know, for the time, it’s okay. It’s an okay movie. Like, I’ve actually used this movie in some of my classes sometimes. However. However, I have faith because Netflix has money, which means that it’s going to be a better production and hopefully, hopefully stay true to the book. Also, my favorite Mexican actress, ISIS Alice, is in the movie. So again, I have faith. I have faith. But, oh, my gosh, I can’t wait. I can’t wait.
