This is the word. I want you to teach them what each of those letters or graph themes say. For instance, tell them that the sounds are, explain that CK is a graphing that makes one sound. Then show them how those sounds blend together to create the word, right? If you keep doing this and draw their attention to the sounds within the word, then reading will become a lot easier and much more accessible.
