Mimicking Prey: A Guide to Interactive Playtime with Your Cat

What’s up, everybody? Cat Daddy Jackson Galaxy here with a quick tip about playing with your cat. And of course, first of all, interactive toys. That means that you’re attached to one end and your cats attached to the other, like this nifty toy right here. That’s Bramble. He’s our foster kitten. Always make sure that the toy is moving away from them. Only the dumbest of prey would run into your cat’s mouth. So now he’s caught it. Look at how he’s walking away. You know why he’s doing that? Because he’s actually got it in his DNA to see if that animal is dead.

Now we go off again. Off we go. Now we’re not gonna move in straight lines. Now we’re gonna stop. See moves away. Now we’re moving again. Now we’re moving this way. By moving in unpredictable ways. We are mimicking pray. If you mimic pray, your cats will play.
