Never do free work. I don’t believe in the statement at all. When I first started out doing this, I did a ton of free work. And guess what? I still do a lot of free work today. It is a great way to build your portfolio, get noticed, or just practice in general. I’m tired of hearing people say like, never give away free work. Never just shoot something to shoot. Absolute garbage. Free work got me to where I am today. And it will help you become a better photographer, filmmaker, writer, who, whatever it is you wanna do. Next time somebody says don’t do free work, don’t listen.
