Mastering the Art of Securing Free Products: Insider Tips and Strategies for Influencers

What sets you apart from 1,000 other people who are asking for the same product. I was actually rejected the first time I reached out to skipper. Let’s get into apps or websites that I have used for free products. And we are starting off with skippers and I think I’ll make this into a series now. And I believe I had 5,000 followers at that point in time.

Skippers, they check your engagement and they also check the quality of your videos. So I receive like a generic message in terms of why I didn’t get through. And I just said, you know what, it’s okay. I am not taking that rejection.

I will go on and continue making content for different and reached out to different platforms like Timu and whatnot. And I eventually got on with Timu. But for skippers, I think I either reached out to them again or they ended up sending me an email state and that I have no magic criteria for it.

Some of the tips I would give to get in free products on skippers, be sure to apply to more than one brand. Basically, you start off, I believe, with four credits. Be sure to pitch to your brand properly. And I actually got through. That was not on skippers. That was on incense. And I would have mentioned that, hey, I am a very hard worker and whatnot. And I actually got that off a whim that was lash body, but which keep us.

I realize that you have to understand more work where I would have gotten through with red by kiss and I did a video on there. What do you want to do with this product? Let’s say it’s this perfume button bodywoods. Now, if I’m saying I’m going to do a video for this brand, I want to fit your product. Say, let’s say one of my beauty videos, I will showcase what perfume I’m using while I get ready. So like basically I get ready with me. So they want to see what you’re going to do with their product. No one just say, okay, I need this, I love this, I love her. Every. What sets you apart from the other basically 500 or 1,000 other people who are asking for the same product?

I didn’t have like a clear script of what I was going to do, but I had an idea. Okay, I’m going to do this video and it will showcase your product in this way. And I got through and be sure to produce your content on time if which skippers you are given basically 21 days after your product is delivered. 21 days is enough to get your video done and uploaded to your platform.

Be sure to follow the guidelines of the brand. So that particular company, they would want you to use certain hashtags, they would want you to use certain captions, or they would want you to be transparent and put that you were gifted by whatever brand.
