Understanding Gender Affirming Healthcare: Beyond Transgender Experiences

There’s a lot of things that transfers don’t understand, but one of the funniest to me is how they don’t understand that even CIS people benefit from gender affirming healthcare like CIS Moon with kind of comastia, which is basically mood syndrome. It’s where a man has excess tissue, often that is treated with either hormone therapy or getting them surgically removed. That is gender affirming healthcare. There are sis women who suffer from PCOS, which gives them facial hair that they get laser removed or removed in other ways. That is gender affirming healthcare. There are CIS women who are flat chested and get boob jobs to give them a more feminine figure. That is gender affirming healthcare. Anything that helps you feel more comfortable in your body and make your body feel more representative of the gender that you are, even if it’s the gender you were born with, is gender affirming healthcare? It’s just crazy to me that so many bigots don’t realize how much they screw themselves over by so strongly opposing basic rights for trans people when it’s like most of the rights that trans people are arguing for would objectively be helpful for literally everyone.
