Autistic Comfort: Finding Peace in Public Spaces

I’m autistic and I saw this at a bookstore yesterday and I got it and I’m in love with it and I’m gonna take it everywhere. I’m gonna take it in public all the time. And you wanna know why? Not for attention, but because public is the stressful place. I need comforting items when I am in stressful places. Don’t look at me. I don’t want your attention, actually. But also like if you look at me in a chill way, then that’s fine. If you’re just like looking at me like a, like you look at anybody else, then that’s fine. I’ll put it that way. Look at me the same as you would look at anybody else. It’s literally a stuffed animal. Don’t get triggered by it, man. Don’t be such a snowflake.
