Love Park Show Day: A Summer Performance to Remember

What to do, guys? Today is a show day, so I’m running to the hairstore to get a few things for my performance at Love Park. One of the songs I’m performing today, session 32 by Summer Walker, came on in the store. So I had the vibe. I bought a little bit. You know, I’m saying I literally ran home to get ready and I have to wanna try to make my way downtown when I tell y’all it was hot, it was hot, hot, hot. One of the hottest summers I ever dealt with.

Pulled up, there’s the stage. Everybody’s dancing. The kids are in a fountain. It’s just a good vibe, right? My boy Irv is already here. He’s chilling. He’s playing the game.

The event is called I Love John. And love was definitely in air. I had to talk to the sound engineer real quick and let him know I need some reverb and delay on my vocals.

Okay, so once the performance is started, I was trying to stay cool. I was trying to get my mind right. I take my water and my fan and I make my way backstage. I feel like such a celebrity. I love outdoor events, especially outdoor performances. No cap. This is probably my favorite show I’ve done all year. Focus was on point and I was doing my legendary back bent to on off. Hunger was in a front row getting with me. Look at it. After that, I got the vibe out to my boy earth. He was doing his thing. After that, I got to take some pictures with the little chit. Shout out to the little boy that won the real dollar that I shot out of the money gun. And when I tell you they jacked me for all my stuff, I’m not line. They went in my fan, my money, gun. I gave them scarves, some cash dollars, but I was so happy to do it cuz the kids love cash. And cash Letta kids, I feel so blessed and grateful to be able to perform for my city.
