Mastering Dropshipping: The Importance of Knowledge Before Investment

Saw this comment and thought it would help a tinify explain it. So when it comes to getting started with this business, drop shipping or any other business, everybody thinks the first step is something they need to spend money on, but the reality is it’s not. Obviously, you need to get out there in the field and get started testing products, doing stuff like that later on, which is gonna cost a couple bucks. But in the beginning, you literally just need to get the knowledge to know what to do once you have the money to start spending on the business. And the reason I say this is cuz I get asked this all the time, and people are always like, y’all, I’ve been waiting to save up money to get started. It’s like, bro, if you get started right now learning this stuff, then by the time you have the money to get started building your store, ordering the products to test, all that sort of stuff, you’ll already have the knowledge needed. So then soon as you get the product, you can start testing it and not have to backtrack or, you know, not have to have the money, now have the product and then take three weeks to learn. And at that point, your product you picked out to test is probably not even gonna be relevant anymore. More. But my overall point here is just start with the learning. If you don’t have any money, start by just taking a free course, going on YouTube and getting free knowledge. And then while you’re doing that, just go out and try to make yourself an extra five to 10 dollars that you could spend on ordering a product. Because other than that, you really don’t have to spend any money in the beginning. Once you order your product off Amazon, which is probably five to 10 bucks to get, depending on what product you wanna sell, you’re gonna then be able to start making content for this product and trying to get something to go viral on social media. And all you have to do for this is just post videos about the product that you ordered on your social media accounts and don’t do anything else that cost money unless the product goes viral. And then once it goes viral and you know you’re gonna be making sales, then you can go and build your store, do all this other stuff. Because you know, hey, if I spend money on getting my store made, if I spend money on my supply buyer and setting that up or these other apps, you know, there’s gonna be traffic going to the store. Or in other words, that you’re gonna be making sales. Obviously, if you have the budget, it is nice to be able to build the store when you first start testing the product in case it goes viral, just so you have a super good looking store ready to go right away and aren’t having to throw something up last minute that doesn’t look good. But at the end of the day, I know if you’re anything like me, when I first start, you do not have budget to just throw around. And that’s why I want to explain this way.
