Do I recommend wearing your best colors from head to toe in this video. I’m gonna cover off this question with a very fun client update I recently received. So a while ago, I shared with you the initial client update I receive from this client where she shared that before her color analysis, she thought she was going to receive an autumn result, but she actually received a true spring result. And we had a very fun zoom chat.
And I’ve recently received another color analysis update from this client where she is shared that she’s been having so much fun shopping for her true spring colors from head to toe. Because during our zoom chat, that is one of the common questions she asked. And I answered, yes, I do recommend wearing your best colors head to tell.
There’s one of her new update pictures that she is provided wearing her true spring colors head to toe. Here’s another fun head to toe look this client is sent in. She even shared she’s been updating her sock colors. I’ve shared with you in the past that I’m a true summer. I literally wear my best true summer colors from head to toe, including my undergarments. And here’s a picture she sent in wearing yellow shorts in her true spring palette. I love how she is the printed color strip attached to her mirror.
There are a few reasons why I recommend wearing your best colors head to toe. So let’s recap what color analysis is about. Color harmony, while also giving you in a nutshell, a facelift without the surgery. And so obviously, wearing colors around here that aren’t in your palette don’t cause issues to the coloring of your face. But let’s say you’re wearing black pants. I’m gonna refer to the most common scenario I hear about is wearing black pants and everything else in your color palette. So it creates disconnection the back black pants. So I, one would be more inclined to look at the lower half of you, if I was to put 10 apples in a row and put in the orange in the middle, one would be more inclined to look at the orange because of disconnection. And that’s what the black pant scenario would create.
And also, if you think about many palettes in my true summer palette is in the back here. If I was to where black pants with some of these colors, it creates a large degree of disconnection. And the true summer palette, for instance, is a lower contrast palette. And so the black pants scenario would create a high contrast look and create disharmony in color analysis. It technically doesn’t go with these colors. Black, a true black is a true winter color. And so it’s a completely under different undertone value and intensity family.
Even for like shoes, let’s say I was wearing everything in my palette, but my shoes were black. It one would be more inclined to look at the shoes cuz when someone looks at you, let’s say you’re walking down the street. Typically our eyes look at the head first, then the feet, and then our eyes work their way up. And there would be a hesitation at the feet if someone was, say, in black shoes when black wasn’t in harmony with her palette and everything else they’re wearing is in their palette, it creates disconnection in color analysis as well.
If you wanna be really technical, the higher contrast palettes of true Winter Bright spring color blocking looks work well. But the lower contrast palettes like true summer muted, summer muted autumn lower contrast looks would be technically recommended. And the introduction of the black would create a higher contrast. I’m getting very technical there. I will always say wear what you love. The other thing is energetically, I don’t talk about this often, but colors, energy and so are you. And there’s a holistic practice called energy muscle testing. And if you’re wearing colors not in harmony with you and you were energy muscle tested, you actually give out a no reading, which would mean energetically you’re giving out a no reading. To recap app, I do recommend wearing your best colors from head to toe. And thank you so much to this color analysis client for a very fun update. Yeah, true spring. If I had my pom palms with me, I’d be waving them while.
