Just finished reading a test of courage for the first time. And there’s a scene in here that contains so much Star Wars history and I’m so curious about it. So in a test of courage, we meet Vanesa Row for the first time, who at one point prior to the events of this book, adapts her lightsaber so that it can also be a light whip. And another character is seeing that light whip for the first time is like light whips are used by the Night Sisters. And for Nestra is just like during the Sith Wars, the Jedi also used light whips. And then she says, have you read the testimonies of servo the uncanny? She states that the whip was sometimes used to defend against the Sith Lords who used the forbidden forms. And I think, I’m so struck by this because to me, Sith Wars implies way more Sith, like a legion of Sith. And this maybe happened like before the rule of 2 existed. I have no idea. I’m just like speculating. Maybe I will find out more as I read more through the High Republic. I just love learning more about Star Wars history and the history of the that galactic universe. I think it’s really cool. And I love the way that we just get little crumbs here and there.
