Frugal Ferry Tales: Exploring New York City on a Budget

Here’s all the plebs lining up for the 18 dollar ferry to the stature of Liberty. But that’s not us because we save our money by taking the very cheap, free Statin Island ferry. It also runs 24 hours a day. City that never sleeps. This ferry is a contrasting mix of overworked finance workers and budget travelers like myself. For annoying everyone by only riding the fairy to see Lady Liberty. I’ll be honest, the view isn’t super close up and doesn’t look great on camera unless you’ve got a long lens. But it’s pretty good for a free squeeze. And you do get a great view of Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines. Once you get to Staten Island, there’s plenty of things to do. But my No. 1 would have to be lining up for the ferry back to Manhattan at one point, the fairy got cut in half by some bad guys. But unfortunately, spider and Iron Man are not real, so we all died.
