Empowering Young Adults: A Journey from Shelter to Success at The Grove

Stepping into a cabin shelter to his own apartment today, a young person moved out of the Grove, our transitional age youth shelter, and into his very own apartment. Past seven months with us, he has accomplished so much. He gained employment, earned his ready to rent certificate, paid off debt, received mental health services and even bought a car.

At the Grove, we provide a safe and of environment for each 24 year old. And second, our 50 carbon culture is more than just a place to stay, it’s a place to grow and thrive. Our mission is to empower these individuals to overcome challenges and build a brighter future. We believe in their potential, and we are committed to helping them achieve their dreams.

If you are interested in supporting the work at the Grove, you can make a difference today. Every dollar helps us provide vital resources and support to those in need. Visit the link in our bio or our website at First Step communities.org to donate.
