Blooming Success: A Flower Seller’s Story of Creativity and Sales Savvy

When I was a kid, my dad, who was a flower seller, showed me how to set up a store on the local highway of flowers. He showed me how, and I set up a store with 300 bunches of flower. I was a big wall of flowers on the side of the road, and I’d grab a couple of bunches at each hand and I dance on the side of the road. And there were other kids with just a bucket of flowers on the side of the road and I could sell the whole 300 bunches because I gave people an enormous display, an enormous choice. I sell the whole 300 bunches before those kids sell their bucket for. And I’ve done it again here. We’ve got 6,000 standard roses, 80 varieties, two footers for 1599 and three footers for 2999, and the biggest and best display anywhere of standard roses.
