Exploring Manhattan Beach and Embracing Jeff Probst’s Challenge Commentary: A Survivor Experience

Went to Manhattan Beach today. I have actually never been to Manhattan Beach. I don’t know how, but I loved it. Fell in love. New favorite beach, but figured I’d answer one or two more questions because I’m feeling surivory. What’s it like doing challenges with Jeff talking? Honestly, I didn’t really notice it a ton. There is one challenge that honestly I deserved it that I remember very vividly. Jeff making fun of me. He was like, more puzzle pieces on the ground than on Lauren’s puzzle. Will Lauren ever catch up? I do remember him talking pretty badly about Lesu. Again, deserved it. I don’t think it’s dramatic in the slightest. I think it’s actually more fun when Jeff is tearing people apart in challenges because sometimes you suck. There were a lot of times that Lesu sucked. There was a lot of times that I sucked and you deserve it. I also think that Jeff’s commentary is just iconic. I don’t know. It fills in that gap, but when you’re competing, it’s not like it’s distracting you, if that makes any sense. I also personally love when he gets his thoughts because he’s been doing it for so long and he’s so good at it that one, it’s usually funny. Two, it’s usually warranted. Three, when you’re watching as a viewer, they’re not going to put his commentary in there if it’s not relevant to the story, if that makes sense. They have the choice to put it in there or not.
