Anyone who knows me or follows me knows that I am a huge animal lover and I would give another dog a home in a heartbeat if I thought that dog was right for what we have here. We already have five animals but I would give another ten animals a home if I could. And what really grinds my gears is I follow a lot, a lot of shelters around Ireland on social media and in the last two months I have messaged, phoned or applied for seven of these beautiful rescue dogs and not one of them have come back to me. Not even a thanks for your email or thanks for your application. And yet they continue to cry out that they can’t rehome these animals and don’t have the decency to come back to the people that actually can give them a great fucking home. Please explain that one to me. For someone who would absolutely love to give a dog a forever home it’s so fucking disheartening. It’s so disheartening when they just ignore your call to help.
