Jordan Chiles may not be losing her Olympic medal after all. This is Jordan Chiles with Simone, her teammate who was hugging her. The judges completely forgot to score her difficulty accurately, so her coach submitted a ticket. This made Jordan Chiles go from 5th place, no medal, to 3rd place being on the podium, a bronze Olympic winner. Just for the Olympics to strip it away from her again, because apparently the coach submitted the ticket in 64 seconds when the requirement says you have to submit a ticket within 60 seconds. But don’t worry guys, Jordan Chiles may still get her medal back. Because USA Gymnastics just released this statement right here where they reviewed camera footage and it shows Jordan Chiles’ coach submitting that ticket within 47 seconds. That’s right Romania, not 64 seconds like you all claimed, 47. Now I gotta see in math all through school, so correct me if I’m wrong, but 47 seconds is less than 60, right? Which means that Jordan’s coach submitted the ticket to review her scoring within the required time limit, which means Jordan Chiles is our 2024 Olympic floor bronze medalist. If the judges did their job correctly, Jordan would have won fair and square, we wouldn’t be here right now. Give the young lady her medal back dammit.
