the worldwide Jordan Childs Olympic bronze controversy just got even more controversial. I am beside myself right now. USA Gymnastics themselves on their official account just posted this statement about the CIS ruling striking down the inquiry. They first said that Jordan Childs did not submit her request to have her score reevaluated within the one minute deadline following the posting of the routine. USA Gymnastics just said that they submitted the request 47 seconds after the score is posted. What’s 47? It’s less than 60. That’s less than one minute. And then the second time they submitted a statement 55 seconds after again within the one minute time frame. Because USA Gymnastics did not receive this video and weren’t able to send it to the Olympic Committee before they decided to take away Jordan’s medal, they said it was too late. They said we already made the ruling. You fucking made five rulings, 15 rulings at this point that it was too late to make all these rulings for. Make a new one. This is ridiculous. I’m absolutely floored. You’re gonna make this girl ship her medal back after they have video evidence that this is not what happened. You reviewed video evidence that the other girls didn’t have deductions 10 days after it happened. Like what is going on? This is a joke. We need the names of the people who are in charge of this ruling and they need to never work in this environment again. You guys should resign if you’re not fired. This is embarrassing.
