Let me tell you about Saboris Mexico Food Tours. They have several but I’m going to tell you about the Coyoacan Food Tour. Our guide was Jimena, she was amazing, and she gave us this handy little pocket map. So useful especially for these videos. First stop, a Beneficio Cafe. We started the tour with iced coffees, lattes, and espressos. A couple of us had lemonade. We were caffeinated just enough to move on. Next stop, Mercado de Coyoacan. It’s a farmer’s market that pretty much sold everything. At Mexico Lindo, we had some fruit and a classic pan vaso, a chicken sandwich, and fresh juices from Coctaleando. I got the green juice of course. Jimena explained we’ll go into another market. Mercado de Comida. There we had some Antojitos. Mexican snacks where we sampled a variety of quesadillas. There was great food at Amatista and they served Mexican beers and aluminum cups. The tostados were large and delicious. Number five on the list was Jupiter. A cerveceria where they served us some craft beer and some more food and some more drinks and some more food. Oh, I was getting stuffed. Then it was time for elotes and esquitas. And the esqueta is served in a cup. And elotes in ear of corn slathered with goodness. Our last stop was El Quiosco de Coyoacan. We went there for churros and they were the best that I’ve tasted. Question. Your favorite. Do you have one? If you could choose one, which one would it be? You! Goodbye.
