The Dome: LA’s Immersive Entertainment Experience at Cosm

LA just got our own version of the Vegas Sphere. It’s called the Dome and it’s insane. You’ll watch a huge spherical screen that wraps around the audience. It’s not as massive as the one in Vegas, but I think it’s very cutesy, very demure. These are some previews before the actual show I went to. They have some nature and art shows and even sports. I don’t even watch sports, but I would for this. It looks like you’re in the stadium. I went to see Cirque du Soleil. That indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim hits different here. It felt like we transported to the actual Cirque du Soleil theater. All the way to the replicated ceiling. Not gonna lie, I thought the actual people were gonna be here. It is just on the screen. I wasn’t disappointed though, because just look at this resolution. It was crystal clear. It feels like you’re actually there in person in the best seats. It’s so immersive, like get this. Those people clapping over there, they’re not real, they’re on the screen. So is this lady standing and clapping. Blew my mind because they just blended right in. I also like how the seats here are comfortable booths and you can order food from your seat. They validate three hours of parking and the best seats are on levels two and three. There’s also a huge outdoor deck to enjoy. This is an unforgettable, incredibly unique experience. I’m definitely gonna come back to see more of their shows. Especially sports, like can you imagine watching the LA Olympics here? Check them out, they’re called Cosm.
