Ultimate Alliance: A Nostalgic Tribute to the Marvel Superhero Classics

If you do not know where these two games are, there’s something wrong with you. Ultimate Alliance 1 and Ultimate Alliance 2 was a pinnacle part of my childhood. A lot of my human development would not have even taken place without these two games. There is no superhero fan on this planet that did not play these games growing up. So for that reason, there’s one thing I don’t understand. Why did they stop? Why did these games stop being produced in the way they were? They don’t make superhero games where you can have four people playing at once anymore. Everything’s all about online play and all kinds of bullshit, but they don’t make fun, like arcade level sit-down, sit down with your friends, sit down with your brothers, sit down with your cousins, and sit down and play a game altogether. They don’t do that no more, and I wanna know why. These games had such a fat spread of Marvel characters, iconic characters you could play as, bro. I’m talking characters that you don’t even see in video games at all. Like when was the last time you seen Silver Surfer in a video game, bro? I will say Ultimate Alliance 1 was the better game, but Ultimate Alliance 2 was a great game as well, bro, and I feel like it’s sad that these games are not being produced anymore. They even had great story modes, and I missed the days when I could play as these characters all at once. Bring back games like this.
