The fearless couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively came out winners with both of their movies topping the box office charts. Deadpool and Wolverine remain the top movie in North American theaters for the third straight week with $54.2 million in ticket sales according to the studio estimates on Sunday. Worldwide, it’s now past $1 billion. The film, which co-stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, is only the second R-rated movie to ever reach $1 billion. Lively’s romance drama It Ends With Us closely follows with the $50 million debut that Sir Past Expectations. Adapted from the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover, Lively produced and stars as Lily Bloom alongside Justin Baldoni who also directed the film. Lively also made a cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine and the couple played up the convergence of their movies.
