In case you’ve been following along everything happening with Jordan Childs bronze medal, here’s an update from USA Gymnastics Here’s what the Instagram post says USA Gymnastics was notified by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Monday that their rules do not allow for an Arbitral award to be reconsidered even when conclusive new evidence is presented So they’re saying that after the CAS ruled Anabar Bosu the rightful bronze medal recipient that cannot be undone USA Gymnastics goes on to say we are deeply disappointed by the Notification and will continue to pursue every possible Avenue and appeal process including to the Swiss Federal Tribunal That’s the court above the CAS to ensure the just scoring placement and medal award for Jordan This is devastating although USA Gymnastics provided the CAS with time-stamped video evidence Evidence that Jordan Childs coach submitted the inquiry before the one-minute deadline Their decision following the application submitted by Anabar Bosu cannot be undone I mean, I don’t know what else there is to do But the IOC has already said that they plan on organizing a reallocation ceremony for Anabar Bosu of Romania and taking the medal back from Jordan Childs This is actually absurd for the athletes to endure this whenever they didn’t do anything wrong. This is all the judges fault
