Simone Biles and Suni Lee have both reacted to Jordan Childs losing her position of bronze in the floor routine at the Paris Olympics. Suni shared USA Gymnastics’ statement saying how devastated they were in the change, saying, quote, “‘All this talk about the athlete, what about the judges? Completely unacceptable. This is awful and I’m gutted for Jordan. I got your back forever, Joe. You have all my flowers and you will always be an Olympic champion.'” As for Simone, she shared this image saying, “‘Sending you so much love, Jordan. Keep your chin up. Olympic champ. We love you.'” She also re-shared a post that quoted Suni Lee as to what she said about the judges. And honestly, that is the most solid point of all of this. This is really heartbreaking for both Anna of Romania and Jordan, like the whole thing has been a mess based on the judges’ era which has taken away from just the joy for either of the girls to celebrate their wins as they should. I hope both girls are doing ok because this is a tough pill to swallow.
