Little Texas is the only country group to battle a tornado and win and we do not talk about that enough. The year is 1994 and Little Texas is gearing up to release their iconic album, Kick A Little. And if you remember, one of the big singles off this record was the title track, which got its own music video. Looks like there’s a storm growing up. Shot at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville in August of 94, the video for Kick A Little finds Little Texas seemingly practicing for tour when a tornado bursts into the theater and threatens their lives. But thankfully, the band is able to survive thanks to what I believe or can only assume is the power of music. Check out this clip. Thankfully, Little Texas survived and you can still see them on the road to this day. The live show is incredible. I cannot recommend it enough.
