Bridal Dreams: The Journey of Zali Idje

I can’t believe I’m saying this. In three days, I launched my very first bridal collection called Zali Idje, which is in my native language and in English it translates to to set off on a journey or to begin a journey. And I must say this has truly been a journey for me. I opened my first shop in Lagos, Nigeria in 2020 and in a few months I’m going to be the owner of a bridal showroom. Like it’s so surreal to me. I’m about to be in the bridal industry guys. Like it’s been a long time coming of just trusting my vision, my gut feelings that this will work out for me, that this was my place to be in. I know the number of clients I have turned down over the past seven months. The last seven months have been crazy because I have been getting countless clients asking me to make their wedding dresses and I’ve just been turning it down just trying to prepare myself and I feel like the time is now.
