Being Mindful of Pronouns: A Personal Perspective on Identity and Assumptions

I’m not a girl. I’m not a boy. Don’t go by she, her. I go by they, them. So if you could be mindful when you come up to me, please don’t say, oh my gosh, that’s that girl that sings. I will be one of the greatest that is about you, because it’s really awkward for me. Because I’m not a girl. I understand. But you look like at, at, at, start assuming you know who a person is by the way that they look.
