Title: Exploring the Future of AI and Robotics: Androids, Home Assistance, and Ethical Quandaries

Given that OpenAI is going to have a major announcement of some sort tomorrow. I thought I would talk some more about the future of AI and robotics. I’m well aware that this is an interesting topic and that some people would want to talk to me in the comments. I’m well aware that my comments are off, if you wish to speak to me, you can DM me. I do not have my comments on for self care. I know that some people think that means I’m a coward. But I would prefer not to be, have people attacking me in the comments, at least if you attack me in DMS, I can just block you.

Okay, so as I have mentioned before, it seems to me that when we’re looking at the advancements in AI and robotics in the wrong way, they are not two separate things. They are the same thing because the ultimate in game of all this is androids. Like, and not just any older androids, but like by androids and like light runner androids that are indistinguishable from human.

Now, how that might happen, I don’t know. But that’s the 10,20, I mean, let’s say 20 to 30 years from now, that is the end game, that we will have androids that are indistinguishable from humans, more human than human attack. Okay, there in there are obvious there are some obvious issues with how you make them look human or that will be figured out, I’m sure. Okay.

The thing, the more I think about, the more I realize how AI powered androids will come into the home is I was having a conversation with somebody and I said, but what if the Android can build your deck for you and their eyes look up and they’re, that’d be interesting. So I think there’s a certain level of utility than Android, a domestic Android would have to have before you could sell it in the mass market. You would have to be smart enough and dexterous enough that it can build a deck because, or do plumbing. Cuz plumbing apparently is very expensive. So if you talk, if you say to the average middle class home, not only like, yes, it’s $10,000, but it will fix you, it’ll build you a deck. All you have to do is pay for the build, the basics, the wood, and also it will fix your plumbing for you. I mean, right there. That’s 10,000 are more than 10,000 or $10,000 that they feel as though they will, they would rather than pay $20,000 for those two things, they pay $10,000 for the AI infused Android. What’s more, once it’s in the home, because people are generally collectively pretty dumb, sometimes they will use it for basic babysitting. Like they will, if it’s smart enough to build a deck, it’s smart enough at least to keep an eye on a baby. Also, it’s more enough for basic home security, which opens up all kinds of quandries of ethics, morality, because what if someone does, in fact, break into your home?

In there, in your, there’s a scuffle between you, between the android and the human. Who I, who’s liable? Who’s responsible for whatever happens? Those are some edge cases that we will have to figure out. But I do think like the thing about it is apple, for some reason, they are really behind both AI and robotics because they seem they seem to be the company that would be the most in position to design an Android that was really smart because it’s it’s like all is just a moving computer. And since in some respects, and so then they’re, and they’re very good with having an ecosystem that you work with in. So it makes, it would make a lot of sense if you had an Android that was part of the apple ecosystem. We, it’s a like, it’s a testament to how Ted GPT made everything pivot on a dime. That, you know, we were all thinking it was gonna be VR or even crypto, but now obviously the feature is AI and robotics. Cuz, and what’s even more interesting is the Japanese have been working on robotics for 40 years, okay? But it’s only really been the last five to 10 years that robotics has really started to cough in a way that’s practical. And so another macro issue is what if all the DDD jobs that Native American, native like born in American don’t want to do and immigrants do, what if all those DDD jobs go to androids? Does that help or hurt are political system? Like does that make it more likely that the pressure, the demographic pressure that’s putting, that’s creating Mega will subside? Or will it just all pivot to anti technology? I don’t know. It’s all a very interesting, curious situation because there’s just so much unknown.

And one thing that bothers me, unsettles me, is the idea that we made that, okay, let me back up. It’s a miracle that any baby is conceived. It is. Especially the modern day era, it is a testament to how we are hardwired to propagate that any babies are conceived.

What I’m concerned about is what happens when both sexes can find the perfect mate, but that perfect mate can have baby. Will there be any children ever born again or we, we will. Or will we be in a children a man or is the children of men. A children of men scenario where there are no babies. That is something to ponder. Because if. Like part of the human experience is. What you’re willing to forgive about someone, to be with them long term, be in our relationship and ultimately potentially have baby with them. What are you willing to forgive?

And the one thing that I’ve noticed about women, I’m not picking all women, I’m just making an observation. One thing I’ve noticed about women who use, who often do examination is that they really are very specific on what they want. They really know what they want. And the genetics of their pay. And it’s sort of this, but sort of in a sense, they’ve kind of given up on him. A man, they’re like, I know what I want, tall, dark, handsome, you know, so forth. And so. If both men and women can get a, essentially the perfect mate, and they can program a perfect mate to give them exactly what they want. Are we just going, yeah, are the two genders just going to hire an engineers? They may be for what? People just gonna never talk to each other and never interact. We’re just gonna, both sides, we’ll just hang out with our perfectly design, perfectly programmed mate. Is that the fate of humanity? Is that why we go extinct? We just don’t, we just refuse staying out with each other. That is something I’m worried about because it’s happening very fast. I call it the petite singularity. It’s happening very fast, and I don’t have any really answers for you.
