Growing up my dad would always say if you have made every effort to be somewhere on time to make that thing, to catch that bus and it still leaves without you, you still happen to miss it, then that wasn’t your path, that wasn’t your calling, you weren’t meant to get on that train. When I look back over for example my career life since graduating uni, I have definitely been jobs and opportunities and things that I thought I wanted to do that never happened and at the time I thought like the world had ended, like life was over and it’s only in hindsight now having left my 9 to 5 job two months ago and life just going so like beyond my wildest dreams, I can really see that when you trust God and you trust the process, things can truly and they do truly work out for you and I want to say this as someone who grew up in a counsellor house with not very much, quite often we see people from privileged backgrounds talking about this stuff and it’s quite like unrelatable but I firmly believe that what is for you will never ever miss you. If it’s written for you in your story then it’s already yours, you have actually got this, just trust the process.
