The package got a little beat up in transit. This is the No Filter Poreless Base Smoothing Primer. Really beautiful packaging. If you know me, you know that I love that it comes in a pump. This is said to give your concealer and foundation stamina, longevity, it has light scattering technology, which sounds super cool, and it is also going to blur the skin. This is $58, let’s see what the fuss is all about. Thick. I don’t want it to pill, so I’m not going in full circles. I’m kind of pressing and rubbing. Like I’m using some pressure. When you’re using a smoothing primer, you do want to do that because you’re filling the pore, filling the line. Let’s go in with a little YSL All Hours. This is a very blurring primer. It does leave a velvety finish. It does everything it says it’s going to do. It helped the makeup to go on so smoothly. The dry down gets a little bit more matte the more it sinks into the skin, which I thought was interesting. I love how my face feels right now. The makeup feels really velvety and held in place, and I like that. I like that it comes in a pump, even though it is that thicker texture. I love a good pore blur, so I am all about it. I really like this. Let me know what else I should try from Il Maquillage.
