Dunk Rankings: From Kawhi Leonard to LeBron James – A Breakdown of NBA Players’ Dunking Ability

Alright, today I’m going to blind rank NBA players based on their dunking ability, starting with Kawhi Leonard. I mean, he’s got some good poster dunks. He’s very basic with… I mean, he doesn’t really have any trick dunks, but he’s good at posters. I’m going to put him somewhere in the low tier. Let’s go 7. Ben Simmons. Not known for his dunks at all. He’s definitely going to be below Kawhi here. I’ll just put him right at 8. Michael Jordan. All time. I mean, he’s definitely in my top 3 all time, so it depends on who we get for the rest of this list. I’m going to leave a little bit of wiggle room and put him at 2. Larry Bird. Amazing dunker, as you guys all know. Let’s just stick him right at the bottom. Shaq Diesel. He’s a big guy, so he gets some points taken off there. But I mean, the disrespectful dunks that he had, breaking hoops altogether. Let’s put him at 5. Oh, Thanasis. Let’s just put him at 9. Can’t go higher than that. Anthony Edwards. He’s Michael Jordan’s illegitimate son here. Based on how this list is going, I’m going to put him right at 3. Hopefully we get somebody better. Now, Janis. We’ve got both Antetokounmpo brothers on this list. And Janis is going to be just one below Shaq. I kind of shot myself in the foot here, leaving 1 and 4, because now Bill Russell, I have to put him at 4 and just hope that LeBron James shows up. And I wouldn’t put him above Michael Jordan, but for this list, I guess that’s where we’re at. What do you guys think?
