Navigating Intuitive Eating: Finding Community and Support in a Diet Culture World

If you’ve felt so alone and intuitive eating, you feel like you’re swimming upstream against diet culture. None of your friends are talking about their relationship with food, and if they are, it’s not in a way that makes you feel good. You just feel really alone. I’m like, yeah, you might have me here in a community, but you don’t really have anyone to talk to. And that’s like, anyone who has signed up for my group coaching program that’s starting in September, every single one has been like, Sarah, I need a community. I need a group. I need a weekly Zoom call to talk about everything that’s going on, like this group aspect, which is why I don’t take any one-on-ones anymore, because I found that those who are in the group tend to just do so much better in terms of motivation, in terms of their willingness to break against their diet culture rules, and to do the things that make people comfortable. The group is like, one, what everyone is looking for, and two, what everyone honestly needs. So if you’re like, wow, I would just love to have some sort of structure and a group, apply for the program. All you do when you apply is you get a 30-minute call of me. So do it, and don’t you ever forget, I’m so proud of you. Keep going.
